We all start from the beginning.

Some of you just might be old enough to remember Five and Dime stores. Yes, things really did cost only 10 cents! Think of it as a glorified dollar store/general store. My sisters and I used to buy little plastic dolls, probably about 2 1/2 inches tall, and these little miniatures provided hours of imaginative, creative fun. We would bring these home and become fashion designers with little circles of fabric, maybe a ribbon for a belt. We would cut little slits in the fabric for neck and armhole openings. That's it! Baby had a new dress!
